A Wedding invitation is usually a letter or a card sent two or three weeks before marriage inviting the recipient to attend it. The wedding invitations can be printed by some of the methods such as engraving, lithography, thermography, engraving, offset printing, letterpress printing etc. It can be ordered in a press which is specialized in making invitation. There are almost a million of varieties and designs in making invitations. But it keeps on changing inorder to match the recent trends. The wedding invitations will have all the information regarding the date, venue and exact time of the marriage to be held. In olden days people used to send invitations in double envelopes. Usually the first page will have the names of the bride and bridegroom and later on the invitation starts. It will be invited either by bride’s family or by bridegroom’s family or both. But now it is not used in practice. The unique wedding invitations will have certain special features that will outshine other invitations. Some of the other information is also included with it such as response cards, direction cards and information regarding accommodation. But nowadays people are looking for more decorative cards than just an ordinary invitation card. The designs are becoming less traditional as it is fully upto couple’s wish in selecting their favourites.
